Inspiration

I share this blog entry once again first because I needed it, and second because I feel as though some new followers could really benefit from the same inspiration we have received.

A Walk to Remember

We are looking forward to the annual “Walk to Remember” again this year. We will never forget our little Jacob, or what he has meant to our family and to so many others. Please take some time this weekend to say a short prayer for families who have lost a little one. The comfort given to us by our Lord and Savior is beyond words.

See Jacob’s Ripples on Facebook

This is just a quick note to announce that we’ve expanded this journal to Facebook as well. Come follow us @jacobsripples, or click the link here. There are only a few select journal entries on Facebook at the moment. But as I post, I will add the new entries on this blog as well as Facebook. We hope that we will be able to reach even more people with our story of God’s Grace in our lives!

But, we are quickly recognizing that there is something different going on in our lives. Returning to our old normal is not what is happening. We’ve been changed forever, and so even our old normal is forever impacted.

We have undergone a significant transformation during all of this. The transformation we have experienced (and frankly, are still enduring) seems to go hand-in-hand with another significant change in our lives: baptism. When we come to faith in Christ Jesus (typically through baptism), we become “under new management”…

It’s Been a While

I want you all to know that we’re still around although I haven’t posted in a while. Things are pretty hectic lately and so I plan to begin “blogging” soon when things slow down a bit.

We hope you are all well, and encourage you to take some time and wander throughout this blog. Read some of the older posts; send us a comment or two; or take some time this summer to develop a habit of family prayer and devotions – especially if you have young children. We have been so blessed by that time together each night, and we cherish it.

Stay tuned for more…
